Director and Founder
Michael K. Stehling, MD, PhD - University Professor of Radiology, Jerusalem University Visiting Scholar. Stehling served as Research Assistant to Sir Peter Mansfield, Prof. of Physics and Nobel Prize winner in Medicine in 2003 for discoveries concerning Magnetic Resonance Imaging) and thereafter completed his doctorate work in Echo Planar Imaging. The StemXlife Institute for Regenerative Medicine was founded in 2016 by Prof. Michael K. Stehling.
Atta studied Medicine and Classical Studies at the Universities of Würzburg and Frankfurt, with clinical electives at the University of Western Australia and at Harvard Medical School in Boston, USA. From 1995 to 2006 he was research assistant at the Department of Hematology and Oncology at Goethe University Hospital, Frankfurt. From 2007 to 2009 he was a senior physician at the Department of Hematology and Oncology at the University Hospital of Giessen. From 2009 to 2016 he was consultant in Hematology and Oncology at the Department of Hematology and Oncology at Goethe University Hospital, Frankfurt. On 1 November 2016, Prof. Atta joined the STEMXLIFE Institute for Regenerative Medicine.
